NICOLAS KIMAZ SELF-MANAGEMENT

YOUR PERSONAL KEY TO SURVIVING
THIS COVID-19 PANDEMIC
(THE SECOND OF A 4-PART SERIES FROM THE 4WISDOMS ACADEMY)

Dr. Nicolas Kimaz asks THE QUESTION OF THE DAY

WHAT HAPPENS NEXT?

If surviving this Coronavirus Covid-19 pandemic was the premise for a book of fiction, a movie script, or even a TV docudrama, the question “What Happens Next?” is what every writer hopes the reader will be saying excitedly with every turn of the page. In literary circles, this is called a “page-turner”, a story that has its audience in the grip of suspense and intrigue, holding its collective breath waiting for the other shoe to drop.

Well, this is no work of fiction – the virus is real, and every person is caught up in its insidious web. I’ve said many times your life is your story and each day you are writing a new page, but one day you found your story spiraling out of control, taking a devasting turn no one could see coming. Your life has definitely become a page-turner, begging the question, “WHAT HAPPENS NEXT?”

As is usually the case, there is bad news and there is good news. In this case, the bad news is you’ve found yourself in deep water through no fault of your own, and water seems to be getting deeper each day and your boat has sprung serious leaks. But the good news is, this is your story, so believe it or not, as bad as things might be looking right now, what happens next is really up to you.

You see, you are the principal character in your story, the hero who we all root for to overcome whatever challenges he/she faces. So, in spite of the devastation that leaves you worrying about job security, income, providing for your family, paying your bills, and an economy balancing on the brink, you remain the hero in your story. That means it’s up to you to find the daylight in the darkness, to find the leaks in the boat and the needed sealant, and to be the support so desperately needed by everyone who depends upon you. It’s a daunting responsibility but we learn from the Ultimate Survival Book, the Holy Bible, that our Creator, God, will always be there to help us see our way through whatever difficulties confront us.

Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God; I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.                                        Isaiah 41:10

My name is Dr. Nicolas Kimaz, N.D., creator and founder of 4wisdoms.com, sharing with you a key to the Wisdom Code, the code with the power to ACTIVATE your spiritual awareness which will TRANSFORM your life and provide clarity through this chaos if you are willing to let go of your old story and write a new one for yourself.

I know of what I speak because I have experienced every emotion that you are now experiencing; I reached a point in my life where I had no idea what was going to happen in my story next. By all appearances I had no hope for even survival, much less any kind of happy ending.

I’m not proud to say it but I was the picture of hopelessness and in looking back I now see it was according to Divine Plan.

I had to be knocked flat on my back to get me to look up and see my Lord standing by my bed admonishing me, “Get up. I have changed your life”.
That nocturnal visit from my Lord and Savior did change my life entirely when I was granted the secret code of the 4Wisdoms of Jesus Christ. From that moment, the moment of my spiritual activation, my story took on a brand-new premise and my life became a new story, a true page-turner in every respect with His signature on every page. It was His presence in my life that enabled me to be victorious over the plague of failure that had infected my very existence.

That same victory can be yours starting at this very instant if you’ll just open your heart and mind to your role in this crisis and how this pandemic plays out in your life, your story. There has never been a better time for you to take up the sword and shield of faith and emerge the hero you were incarnated to be.

But I digress. In no way would I make light of the seriousness of the Covid-19 virus and its devastation. In these unprecedented times brought on by the pandemic, businesses are on hiatus and the streets see less traffic, but there is utter panic behind all the closed doors. And it’s nearly impossible to find an encouraging word. We can’t rely on the media that seem intent primarily on keeping us up to date on body counts and experts trying to place blame. And with government leaders and health officials frantically trying to figure out what to do next, how in the world are we supposed to know what to do? As a result of the confusion, an uprising sparked by fear and panic is taking root in every corner of the globe and snaking its way into every corner of your home.

With all this upheaval – working from home (those fortunate enough to still have jobs), finding new routines, a panic clamoring for masks, paper goods, and disinfectant, and the suggestion of a lingering food shortage  – it’s difficult not to feel overwhelmed. But that doesn’t mean all is lost.
I have good news for you, news that I shared in the first of this 4-part series of blogs. THE KEY TO WEATHERING THE STORM OF THIS COVID-19 PANDEMIC IS LEARNING HOW TO CONNECT WITH AND DEVELOP YOUR INNATE EMOTIONAL INTELLIGENCE!
What does that mean exactly? It means the world as we knew it is never going to be the same and as a result, we’re going to be confronted with some challenges that will serve to shake the very foundations of our belief systems and how we’ve lived our lives. There will be so many more questions but answers to the question WHAT HAPPENS NEXT? as it relates to you, won’t be found anywhere else but inside of you, in your SPIRIT SELF, through the activation of divine wisdom within you brought about by a renewed relationship with God.

The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom, and the knowledge of the Holy One is insight.                                                                                   Proverbs 9:10

You no doubt have gleaned considerable knowledge throughout the years, about life, about work, about getting along in the world, but it’s only through a true relationship with your Lord and Savior that you are graced with divine WISDOM. I speak from personal experience. The first 25 years of my life, I thought I had enough knowledge to rule the world, but as it turned out I didn’t have enough to even rule my own life. I got an education, was successful in business, made lots of money producing movies in Hollywood but what I lacked was WISDOM and with every step forward I’d end up falling two steps back until finally, I ran out of steps and by all appearances my world had ended.
Perhaps you are entertaining some of those same thoughts and feelings now with everything that’s going on. I hear you; I feel you. But with divine guidance, I channeled the wisdom of Jesus Christ into The 4Wisdom Academy and now being called upon by world leaders from around the globe to help them find their own inner wisdom, their own spiritual activation. It’s a special wisdom code based on the power of 4 to rejuvenate the physical being, the mental, the emotional, and the spiritual being. It is a process that is not of this world, enabling you to focus on the wisdom of Jesus Christ to scale to a higher state of being. And the first step in the process is acknowledging our true innate power.
You see, while you can’t change or control many of the elements of the situation you find yourself in, you retain the power to control how you handle this present moment, and what you choose at this moment can actually, shift your emotional state. It’s going to require a degree of imagination, creativity, and patience as you find yourself having to manage what is going on in your household, how and when you venture out to do essential shopping, and how you’re going to deal with work and finances. Many of those decisions were made for you by other people or circumstances, but now it’s fallen on your shoulders. Through no intention or fault of your own, you have been thrown into a management position which is why it’s time to assess and perhaps acquire new self-management skills by ridding yourself of limiting beliefs that keep you from embracing new thoughts and attitudes.
Please know that I’m very aware of how easy to feel totally victimized by the circumstance we find ourselves in but there is hope, and that hope is found in moving from limiting beliefs to Divine emotional intelligence, and the 4 keys to achieving that state of being are SELF-AWARENESS, SELF-MANAGEMENT, EMPATHY, AND SOCIAL SKILLS, as presented in my 1st blog on self-awareness. This is the 2nd blog stressing the importance of SELF-MANAGEMENT especially during this crisis.
Self-management, which is also referred to as “self-control” or “self-regulation,” may sound more daunting initially than what it actually is. It is simply the ability to regulate your emotions, thoughts, and behaviors effectively in different situations, especially during a crisis like what we find ourselves in. This includes managing stress, delaying gratification, motivating oneself, and shifting thoughts about your work and other personal responsibilities and especially how you are going to go about being your own boss.

That’s right. I said, “being your own boss”. Most of us have the misconception that to be your own boss, you need to own a company or work exclusively for yourself. However, during this time of upheaval and self-quarantine, we are thrown involuntarily into the position of being our own bosses, and focusing on self-management is a great way to strengthen this skill. With some kindness, patience, and habit-forming behaviors, all attributes of emotional intelligence, we can adjust rather quickly and painlessly to be the manager people are depending on you to be.

To best understand emotional intelligence is to understand the opposite of emotional intelligence: LIMITING BELIEFS!
The fact of the matter is unless we train it to do otherwise, our brains limit us, reminding us that because we can no longer go about our business as we once did, that we can no longer feel secure.. We have spent a lifetime building our worlds upon a particular foundation, a set of beliefs and rules, and unfortunately, those foundations have been shaken so badly that they fail to support us as the storms of disease assail us. From personal beliefs about yourself to the rules found in self-help books, to the policies of the big religions, every “system” only provides a fresh set of limitations to hold you back. That is why The 4Wisdoms introduces you to the concept of EMOTIONAL INTELLIGENCE.

This is not to say you don’t have a right to feel whatever your feeling. What’s important is (a) you are in touch with your emotions, and (b) that you remain very aware of your feelings. The connection of your thought processes and the power of your heart or emotions results in the balance of compassion, empathic wisdom, the wisdom of Jesus Christ, to approach every challenge
Relying entirely on your thinking which often becomes irrational in times of crisis like what you find yourself in, unfortunately, creates a strong temptation to indulge in what has become a national pastime – THE BLAME GAME. It’s so easy to blame. No matter where you look, you see people playing this game – lawmakers, politicians, businesses of all sizes, local government and national government , friends, neighbors, co-workers, even families – everyone so anxious to blame someone, something, for the devastation of this pandemic that has impacted every human being in one way or another.
The problem with the Blame Game is, there are no winners. Play all you want, go all in, but there’s not a chance you’ll win. The solution: don’t play. While everyone else is being consumed with blaming, you emerge a victor by moving into EMOTIONAL INTELLIGENCE, activating the Divine mind and the Spirit heart to work in concert. The Blame Game is no more than a cognitive distortion, the devil’s device, the mind throwing a tantrum over what it has absolutely no control over resulting in anger, frustration, anxiety, hostility, resentment, and fear. When we allow this crisis to make us feel like victims due to our limiting beliefs, we may find it difficult to depend even on the power of prayer because it’s so easy to blame even God for whatever travail we are experiencing.
The Code of The 4Wisdoms, what I’m committed to sharing with you here, is designed to prevent you from falling into this trap. Oh sure, the virus started somewhere, with someone, and we can point fingers all day long for how it found its way into our workplaces, our stores, our banks, even our homes. You have every right to feel that someone must be held accountable, that someone must make all these wrongs right again for us. But those cries for retribution are going to get lost in the noise of fear and frustration and will only serve to augment your anger. Your justified outrage will change nothing.
The sad fact of the matter is, the face of humanity and how it functions must embrace significant change if any semblance of social and economic order is to be restored. What does that mean for you? It’s the answer to the question, WHAT HAPPENS NEXT? It means that in order to continue to thrive, to protect your earning power, to care for your families, requires you to take your place in a society that that has braced itself for change. Because of the residual effects of the virus, a major paradigm shift must manifest in how we go about our daily lives, how we shop, how we socialize, how we go about our work, how we travel. And furthermore, it means you are going to have to be able to conform to those changes.
I CAN AND I WILL. Do you feel the power in those statements?
There is little doubt that dramatic change is afoot in every facet of our lives and it is easy to get swept up by the emotional weight of these shifts. But a shift in attitude through self-reflection will help you realize that as a child of God, you have the forces of the Universe to help you realign with your divine spirit energies so you never lose grip on your inner power. This spiritual awakening is your key to developing self-management tools to build from the embers of this pandemic the reality you desire, making certain you don’t unintentionally magnetize more darkness and despair.

I can do all things through Him who strengthens me.

All of our situations are different. As we adapt, we won’t be perfect. And that’s OK. Just because you’re moving into a position of self-management doesn't mean you have to become superhuman. This is a long-game process.

This pandemic will not end soon. Life as we know it will never be the same. Change is imminent and we must become adaptable to change as well. Things will continue to have us in a tailspin, but that doesn't mean we have to let the turbulent times victimize us. If we can slow ourselves down long enough to realize that we don’t have to have it all together, have all the answers, we can start to reframe these days as opportunities for grace, rather than demands for superhuman strength.
Think of this as the opening up of a Divinely powerful Portal of Opportunity, an opportunity to take control of your mental and emotional faculties and be transformed by the ACTIVATION of the Holy Spirit in your life, igniting within you the energizing spark of the 4Wisdoms: purpose, passion, prayers, and path, in essence, the rewriting of your new story.

“It has changed my life and can change yours too absolutely. It doesn’t matter what’s going on with you … despite the scope and scale of your problems, there are solutions in Christ’s wisdom.”
Dr. Nicolas Kimaz, N.D.
(from his book, The 4 Wisdoms/Indoctrination)

Sharpening your self-management skill sets will serve to energize divine illumination during this darkest of times. As you learn to see with spirit eyes, you’ll discover what this all means for YOU as an individual. This calamity with all its fallout is serving to open a portal of spiritual awareness for you. Through Divine intervention, spiritual activation, and transformation, all vital elements of self-management, wisdom will be revealed how to thrive in this climate of forced change as you wrap your head around the concept of limitless possibilities. Jesus Himself said to His disciples, “With men this is impossible, but with God, all things are possible”. (Matthew 19:26). And in Hebrews 13:5, Jesus is quoted as saying, “I will never desert you, nor will I ever forsake you.”

A major key to Self-Management involves doing something different now than what you have done in the past (e.g., stepping out of old comfort zones, choosing a new perspective when considering issues, breaking old destructive habits, etc.) in order to achieve desired outcomes. This requires you to reconsider how you approach situations and make decisions.

The most effective strategies are proactive and involve action long before the distraction or decision point occurs. In essence, emotional intelligence becomes your new modus operandi, which requires establishing new patterns of thinking and feeling beyond long-established limiting beliefs. The best proactive strategy is communication with your Higher Power through daily prayer.

You might try thinking twice about a situation and choose actions that make distractions less appealing or make the long-term goals more appealing. Monitoring your impulses will become important as well as attempt to suppress any undesired habit or emotion. Impulse/emotion suppression strategies are challenging to implement and require the most cognitive energy to attempt.

Since these are cognitive strategies involving substantial paradigm shifts, it may require some time to create this new comfort zone for yourself. Self-management skills require you to reconsider what captures your interest and attention (“ … lead us not into temptation …”) and develop the ability to determine instinctively what is part of your problem or what is part of your solution, and focus on solutions to your newly established goals.

When it’s all said and done, the most effective strategy for self-management, which is positive thinking plus a dose of reality, contains four steps:
  1. Identify an important but feasible desire or goal that you want to achieve.
  2. Imagine, as vividly as possible, what the future will be like once this desire or goal is achieved.
  3. Imagine the most critical personal obstacle that stands in the way of achieving your desire.
  4. Invite the Holy Spirit to activate your spiritual awakening and provide you with the wisdom to plan how to eliminate or overcome the obstacle (behavior patterns, cognitive distortions, destructive patterns, or habits) in accordance with God’s plan for your life.
For I know the plans I have for you, declares the LORD, plans for welfare and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope.

Practicing Self-management through a spiritual awakening is about realizing that freedom comes from inside. It’s about letting go of limiting thoughts so that you can discover your own true spiritual power through the love of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

How great writers use the theme of ‘acceptance’ in their narratives?

As we all know that, writing is a form of art and behind every great piece of art there is an inspiration, theme, or motif. When a writer begins writing, there is a pre-existing idea in his mind that drives him to write. Many writers like Dr. Nicolas Kimaz N.D , for that fact, chose to write about the theme of acceptance and recognition. This is because these writers have been facing similar situations in their lives or because they have encountered somebody who is in the search for identity. The theme of ‘Acceptance’ is an impactful theme as it is quite universal. Just think for once a life without purpose and you will start feeling empty. The same thing happens with someone who doesn’t know where he belongs, who is his heir, and so on. Every one of us, in our lives, at some point feel lost and struggles to find the purpose of life just like Dr. Nicolas Kimaz N.D did. But, a few of us could attain it at an early stage. This is what makes us have a sense of belongingness

Therefore, I have listed some of the essential things that one must possess or fulfill to become a life coach. The first essential thing in this field is choosing a niche.
